Session 1: The VoicePrint Model
Aim: To introduce participants to what is distinctive about the VoicePrint model and the principles involved in exploring a profile
Objectives: By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Describe where VoicePrint fits among diagnostics and competence frameworks in general
- Explain the 3 clusters of voices
- List the 9 voices and their corresponding dysfunctional forms
- Explain the use of the two main graphics, the triangle and the track
- Explain the importance of context in order to make sense of a profile and extract insights relevant to the individual
- Identify your own assumptions when viewing a new profile
In this session you will need to complete five tasks and activities, as follows:
The Voiceprint Model:
1.1 Read about the VoicePrint model, and where this fits in psychometrics
1.2 Complete a quiz on the VoicePrint model, voices and dysfunctional versions
1.3 Discuss your own tendencies and preferences

1.4 Watch a video on the key features of a VoicePrint profile
1.5 Develop hypotheses and lines of inquiry for an example profile
